The Ps in Marketing are so extremely important when it comes to doing a business.

The right

- Product,
- Place,
- Promotion,
- Price,
- People,
- Process,
- Personality (perhaps) and the list could go on,

are so crucial in determining whether success or failure is the result.

These Ps are very important to the success of any business. I am now working as a GM of a new start-up business (the biz has been around for about 2 years so it is now slowly but surely picking up pace) and can fully understand the importance of these concepts and that what I learned at University in terms of Marketing is really useful.

Marketing Plans

Learn how to write top class Marketing Plans at Diploma or Degree levels.

One - to - One consultation available or small groups.

Writing a Marketing Plan is actually not difficult as long as you know how to apply the various terms/tools required. Eg. The Marketing 'P's, SWOT, PEST etc.

What they teach you in class is to understand what all these Marketing terms/tools are, then they or the textbooks show you some examples or case studies to make it easier for you to grasp the concepts, then they teach you how to apply them (this part is usually lacking in the classroom setting).

If you feel that you need a personal consultant to guide you and open up your mind to Marketing, then please contact me. Thanks.

Looks And Attraction

A good looking person will always get the attention of people in this world. That is just the way it is. No matter how and what people argue to the contrary, it is a fact that good looking people enjoy more benefits everywhere they go compared to their less glamorous counterparts.

So is this the same for businesses? A shop selling books with good looking renovation all round or a cute looking shop selling women's clothing would stand a better chance of success than ordinary looking ones (shops)?

Marketing Is What Makes Businesses Work

A well developed and deployed marketing strategy will always ensure that a business would, more likely than not, flourish and its sales and profits head northwards.

It is extremely essential that businesses do not neglect this important aspect of overall business strategy and activity.

The 'P's in marketing have to be scrutinised and catered in such a way that ensure success to the business.

Demand And Supply In Marketing

Everything in this world can be explained and summarised with the economic terms of 'demand' and 'supply'.

Negotiation between 2 or more parties are governed by these 2 terms.

It is the same in business as well. For example, if you (a hungry person) were to walk into a food court/mall which has a variety of food stalls selling delicious food, you will have the upper hand because supply exceeds your demand for food. You can afford to stroll around the food court/mall and take your own sweet time to choose what you want to eat. You can compare the prices and the appearance of the food or other factors important to you. To put it simply, you have the negotiation power.

On the other hand, if you (a hungry person) were to walk into a food court/mall which has only 1 food stall. This time round, the food stall owner will have the upper hand. You cannot afford to pick and choose as supply is limited and your demand for food exceeds supply vis-a-vis the first scenario. The food stall owner will, in most instances, not have the time to smile so much and greet you, he will be busy attending to other customers and it is up to yourself to queue up and obediently follow his rules, ie he can choose to give you a small food portion or he can choose to serve you slowly and take his time. To put it simply, the sole food stall owner has the negotiation power.

In Australia - Cont

Over here in Australia (at least in the south-east), one gets to enjoy almost perfect weather, with cool winters and not so hot summers, it is comfortable almost throughout the year.

The fruits and veges are so remarkably fresh and reasonably priced especially if you know where to buy them, eg at the suburb stores that specialise in these products. Likewise for meat.

It is so cosmopolitan nowadays with people of various backgrounds and cultures walking around almost everywhere.

The economy is also doing pretty well, with the mining industry in WA outperforming other already high performing areas such as tourism, education, finance, trade, agriculture etc.

In terms of entertainment, one can get to see beautiful sights and scenery with magnificant icons such as the twelve apostles in Melbourne and the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House in Sydney. Restaurants are aplenty with all sorts of cuisines and the food that are served up by the chefs are mostly delicious to say the least.

In Australia

The internet environment over here is still behind that of certain countries where high speed unlimitied broadband internet (wire or wireless) is common in almost every household.

Over here, it is still in the 'limited' stage where users can only use a certain amount each month.
